McChamberMusic was founded in 1998 by bassoonist Beverly McChesney because of her desire to connect with people through music. With a very large collection of chamber music written for woodwind groups, a memorable whimsical name, and fellow classical musicians who are the best the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer, Beverly opened the McChamberMusic doors to individuals, concert venues and event planners who want high quality classical chamber music for woodwinds performed in concert halls and for events both large and small. McChamberMusic musicians are seasoned professionals and among the top classical musicians of the San Francisco Bay Area. Individually, they have performed with some of the greatest stars and musical groups of our time from Yo Yo Ma to Pavarotti, The Irish Tenors to The Moody Blues, and Gladys Knight to Robert Goulet!! In addition, the players perform as freelance musicians with the San Francisco Symphony, Opera and Ballet orchestras, with nearly all the regional symphony, opera and ballet orchestras of the San Francisco Bay Area and with the Broadway show orchestras of the Curran, Golden Gate and Orpheum theaters. |
